Neosun Energy will construct a solar power system for Jetpark in Johannesburg, South Africa. After signing a contract with Palisades Business Park, the company aims to cut grid electricity consumption and lower operational energy costs.

The project will feature a high-performance, grid-tied solar PV system with 1,380 Longi 580W N-type panels, delivering an 800 kWp installed capacity. Engineered for efficiency, the system is expected to generate about 1.347 GWh of clean energy annually, offsetting nearly 55% of the facility’s electricity needs. By reducing reliance on traditional energy sources, the installation will significantly lower expenses.

Additionally, the system is projected to cut carbon emissions by approximately 905 tons per year—equivalent to removing 2,095 barrels of oil from use or preventing the combustion of over one million pounds of coal. Jeanine Jackson, Head of Sales for Neosun Energy South Africa, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering customized solar solutions that maximize both financial and environmental benefits.

“We are thrilled to be part of this project, especially as our client will benefit from the 12B tax incentive. Our top priority is addressing their energy concerns with an efficient, cost-saving solution,” Jackson stated.

Neosun Energy continues expanding its footprint in South Africa, with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and a newly opened branch in Durban. Recognizing solar power as a game-changer for businesses seeking to cut costs, the company highlights that solar energy is now the most affordable power generation source.

“Our expansion into the South African market provides a major opportunity for businesses to tackle rising energy costs and power shortages,” said Ilya Likhov, CEO of Neosun Energy. “We are committed to delivering advanced solar solutions that enhance efficiency, lower costs, and drive sustainable development. Real change happens when businesses embrace forward-thinking energy strategies, and we are here to ensure a smooth transition.”
