Renaissance has fully restored Nigeria’s Trans Niger oil pipeline, which is now operating normally after last week’s blast.
The Trans Niger Pipeline (TNP), capable of transporting about 450,000 barrels per day, serves as one of the two main routes for exporting Bonny Light crude from Nigeria, Africa’s top oil producer.
After the March 19 explosion damaged the main link, the Nigerian oil consortium Renaissance Group redirected oil flow through an alternative pipeline. Renaissance, which now owns Shell’s former onshore subsidiary operating the pipeline, confirmed the rerouting.
