Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Industries Limited, announced that his refinery has enough Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in storage to fully meet Nigeria’s local demand.

The billionaire businessman made this statement after hosting Zambia’s Minister of Energy, Mr. Makozo Chikote, and his delegation on a tour of the refinery complex.

Dangote revealed that the refinery currently holds over half a billion liters of petroleum and products worth more than ₦600 billion.

He stated, “Right now, we have more than half a billion liters in storage.”

According to him, the refinery produces sufficient gasoline, diesel, and kerosene to cover Nigeria’s entire fuel consumption needs.

Dangote also emphasized that the refinery serves not only Nigeria but the entire African continent.

“This refinery is for Africa, not just Nigeria,” he said.

He highlighted the importance of sustaining the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement and expressed his commitment to expanding trade with other African nations.
