Libya’s daily oil production surpassed 1.4 million barrels on Tuesday, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced.

The NOC revealed this figure as the highest oil production level since 2013.

“Crude oil and condensate output exceeded 1.4 million barrels, while gas production totaled around 200,000 barrels, bringing the overall output to 1.6 million barrels,” the statement clarified.

The statement praised national workers for their relentless efforts, emphasizing that their round-the-clock dedication made this achievement possible and contributed to economic stability in the country.

Prime Minister Abdul-Hamed Dbeibah outlined Libya’s goal to raise daily oil and gas production to 2 million barrels by the end of 2025.
