Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC), a state-owned entity, declared that Mellitah Oil and Gas Company successfully restored well A75 in the Abu Attifel field, achieving an initial production rate of 4,000 barrels per day (bpd), an increase from its previous rate of 781 bpd.
The NOC said Mellitah carried out re-perforation and extension operations for the productive layers to reach the new initial productivity results.
The NOC said this initiative comes as part of the implementation of its strategic plan to increase production.
