The Central Electricity Board (CEB) of Mauritius has opened an international tender for supplying grid-tied, roof-mounted hybrid solar photovoltaic systems with a total capacity of 2 megawatt-peak (MWp). 

Issued under Section 16 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, as amended, the tender invites eligible and qualified bidders to participate through the Government of Mauritius’ e-Procurement System.

The procurement, referenced as OAB-CPR-2025-9778 (IFB 10478), covers the supply of equipment for developing renewable energy infrastructure. 

Interested bidders can download the tender documents from the e-Procurement System using the reference number CEB/IFB/2025/10478. All submissions must be made electronically by 1.30pm Mauritian time on Monday, 2 February 2026.

The CEB has scheduled a compulsory site visit for Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at 10.00am at the CEB office in Port Mathurin, Rodrigues, to help bidders get familiar with the project locations.

The CEB reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or to cancel the tender at any stage before awarding the contract without incurring any liability to bidders.
