President John Dramani Mahama officially began construction of the 200-megawatt-peak (MWp) Solar for Industries Park Project by cutting the sod.
The project represents a significant step in expanding Ghana’s renewable energy supply and supporting industrial development. Once finished, it will rank among West Africa’s largest solar power facilities, aiming for a total capacity of 1,000 MWp by 2032.
The Solar for Industries Park Project will supply reliable power to industries nationwide, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and advance Ghana’s shift to clean energy.
