To celebrate National Farmer’s Day in Ghana, Dutch & Co. is excited to declare its partnership with Golden Exotics, the top banana producer in Ghana.
The upcoming project involves installing a 200-kW solar system, anticipated to generate 287,000 KWh annually. This initiative aligns with Golden Exotics’ commitment to sustainability, aiming to reduce the carbon dioxide footprint of their FTC warehouse by 124 metric tonnes each year.
This collaboration marks Dutch & Co’s 25th solar installation project in the current year and will become the 81st operational solar site for the company.
Expressing satisfaction, Herbert Friese stated, “We are delighted that Golden Exotics chose us to install their solar system. This installation will significantly contribute to fulfilling their climate change commitments as they prepare to wrap up their 20th-anniversary celebrations.”
